# Grammar of Graphics Overview

The Grammar of Graphics (Wilkinson, 2005) provides a formal framework for
describing statistical graphics. Trueno-viz implements this grammar in Rust,
enabling declarative, composable visualizations.

## The Seven Layers

A complete graphic specification consists of seven components:

Trueno-viz uses the builder pattern for fluent composition:
