# Pattern Test Surface

### Scope

- **Purpose**: Define test cases that verify structural conformance to usage patterns documented in `docs/pattern/` instances.
- **Responsibility**: Each spec file maps one-to-one to a pattern instance; all pattern applicability conditions and consequences must have corresponding spec entries.
- **In Scope**: Compliance scenarios for `docs/pattern/001_quick_response.md`, `docs/pattern/002_error_resilient.md`, and `docs/pattern/003_batch_processing.md`.
- **Out of Scope**: Operation procedures (see `tests/docs/operation/`); feature activation (see `tests/docs/feature/`).
