# Security Framework Implementation [AIR-3][AIS-3][BPC-3]

This directory contains the security framework implementation for Anya Core, following official Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) including BIP-340, BIP-341, BIP-342, and BIP-174.

## Overview

The security framework provides comprehensive security controls, validation mechanisms, and cryptographic operations to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Bitcoin-related operations.

## Key Components

### Cryptographic Security

- **Cryptographic Operations**: Secure implementations of cryptographic algorithms
- **HSM Integration**: Hardware security module integration for key protection
- **Key Management**: Secure generation, storage, and usage of keys

### Protocol Security

- **Protocol Validation**: Bitcoin protocol validation mechanisms
- **Vulnerability Detection**: Automated detection of security vulnerabilities
- **Compliance Checking**: Validation against BIP standards

### Static Analysis

- **CodeQL Analysis**: Automated static code analysis
- **Custom Bitcoin Rules**: Bitcoin-specific security rules
- **CI/CD Integration**: Integration with development workflow

## Architecture

The security framework follows a hexagonal architecture pattern:

- Core security services forming the domain layer
- Adapters for specific security technologies
- Ports for external system integration

## Implementation Details

```
                      +----------------+
                      |  Security Core |
                      +-------+--------+
                              |
                      +-------v--------+
                      |  Adapter Layer |
                      +-------+--------+
                              |
+----------------+    +-------v--------+    +----------------+
|   External     |    |   Application  |    |   Monitoring   |
|   Interfaces   <----+   Core Logic   +---->   & Metrics    |
|                |    |                |    |                |
+----------------+    +----------------+    +----------------+
```

## Usage Examples

### Cryptographic Validation

```rust
use anya_core::security::crypto::{SymmetricCrypto, SymmetricAlgorithm};
// Create a symmetric crypto handler using AES-GCM
let crypto = SymmetricCrypto::new(SymmetricAlgorithm::Aes256Gcm);
// Generate secure key and nonce
let key = crypto.generate_key();
let nonce = crypto.generate_nonce();
// Encrypt data
let ciphertext = crypto.encrypt(&key, &nonce, plaintext.as_bytes(), None)?;
// Decrypt data
let decrypted = crypto.decrypt(&key, &nonce, &ciphertext, None)?;
```

### BIP Compliance Validation

```rust
use anya_core::security::compliance::{BipValidator, ComplianceReport};
// Create a BIP validator
let validator = BipValidator::new();
// Validate BIP compliance
let report = validator.validate_bip("BIP-341")?;
assert_eq!(report.status, ComplianceStatus::Compliant);
```

## Bitcoin Protocol Compliance

The security framework adheres to Bitcoin protocol standards:

- Implements BIP-340 for Schnorr signatures
- Supports BIP-341 for Taproot
- Follows BIP-342 for Tapscript
- Validates PSBT according to BIP-174
