Absent

The responder committed to this key but cannot serve its bytes. This is a PROVABLE cheat (it published a commitment over a chunk it does not hold), so the auditor counts it as a confirmed failure — NOT a graced timeout. Distinguishing this explicit signal from silence is what separates a deleter (instant fail) from a dropped packet (timeout).
