SerialReader

Struct SerialReader

Source
pub struct SerialReader { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Thread that continuously reads bulk IN and pushes filtered chunks into a channel.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SerialReader

Source

pub fn start( bulk_in: Box<dyn BulkIn>, max_packet_size: u16, read_timeout_ms: u32, filters: Vec<Box<dyn RxFilter>>, ) -> Self

Spawn the reader thread over bulk_in with optional RX filters (FTDI header, XON/XOFF).

Source

pub fn try_read(&mut self, buf: &mut [u8]) -> Result<usize>

Non-blocking: copy one queued chunk into buf, or Ok(0) if empty.

Source

pub fn stop(&mut self)

Signal stop and join the reader (best-effort within a short timeout).

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Drop for SerialReader

Source§

fn drop(&mut self)

Executes the destructor for this type. Read more
Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
