DecodedAudioSources

Struct DecodedAudioSources

Source
pub struct DecodedAudioSources { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Decoded, project-rate planar audio held per source for offline mixing.

The native decoder produces whole-stream planar audio, so one retained block per source is enough; the renderer indexes it by absolute source position.

Implementations§

Source§

impl DecodedAudioSources

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Creates an empty cache.

Source

pub fn insert(&mut self, source: SourceId, block: AudioBlock)

Retains one source’s decoded audio, replacing any earlier block.

Source

pub fn remove(&mut self, source: &SourceId) -> bool

Drops one source’s decoded audio.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Returns how many sources are retained.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Returns whether no source is retained.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl AudioBlockProvider for DecodedAudioSources

Each source is decoded once from end to end, so a block is its source’s entire audio: before and after it the source is silent.

Source§

fn block( &self, source: &SourceId, _start_sample: i64, _frames: usize, ) -> Option<AudioSpan<'_>>

Returns source samples [start_sample, start_sample + frames) at the project rate, as a span that covers all of them. Read more

fn default() -> Self
