#[non_exhaustive]pub enum GpuErrorKind {
OutOfMemory,
Validation,
Internal,
}Expand description
What class of error the driver reported.
WebGPU’s three error filters. Only Self::OutOfMemory is evidence that
an allocation failed; the others are never read as memory pressure.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
OutOfMemory
An allocation the driver was asked for could not be made.
Validation
Invalid use of the API: a bug or bad data, not a resource shortage.
Internal
Any other failure the implementation reports, including limits it hit.
