pub enum AudioContinuity {
Exact,
ContinueSmallGaps,
}Expand description
What AudioRenderer::render does with a block that does not start
where the previous one ended.
Variants§
Exact
Every such block resets the renderer and replays the settling history before it, so it mixes what a fresh renderer would. Use for exports, loudness measurement, and any output that must repeat.
ContinueSmallGaps
For live preview only. A block starting within AudioRenderer::max_block samples of
where the previous one ended continues from that state without a reset or replay, so a
small step costs one block instead of up to MAX_SETTLING_SECONDS of replay. The result
differs from a fresh renderer’s but is still determined by the blocks asked for, in order.
Longer jumps, and the first block after a reset, are exact.
