# Contributor License Agreement (CLA)
## AI Model Vault — Individual Contributor License Agreement
Thank you for your interest in contributing to AI Model Vault ("the Project"),
maintained by NERVOSYS AI ("the Maintainer"). This Contributor License Agreement
("Agreement") documents the rights granted by contributors to the Maintainer.
### 1. Definitions
- **"Contribution"** means any original work of authorship, including
modifications or additions to existing work, that you intentionally submit to
the Project for inclusion. This includes code, documentation, and any other
material submitted via pull request, patch, issue, or other mechanism.
- **"You"** (or **"Contributor"**) means the individual or legal entity making
a Contribution.
### 2. Grant of Copyright License
You hereby grant to the Maintainer a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive,
no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare
derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and
distribute your Contributions and such derivative works.
### 3. Grant of Patent License
You hereby grant to the Maintainer a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive,
no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use,
offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Contribution, where
such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by you that are
necessarily infringed by your Contribution(s) alone or by combination of your
Contribution(s) with the Project.
### 4. Dual-Licensing Authorization
You understand and agree that the Project is dual-licensed under the
**GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0-or-later)** and a
**Commercial License**. By signing this CLA, you authorize the Maintainer to
distribute your Contributions under either or both of these licenses.
### 5. Representations
You represent that:
- (a) You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
- (b) Each Contribution is your original creation, or you have sufficient rights
to submit it under these terms.
- (c) If your employer has rights to intellectual property that you create, you
have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer, or
your employer has waived such rights for your Contributions.
- (d) Your Contribution does not violate any third-party rights.
### 6. No Obligation
You are not expected to provide support for your Contributions, except to the
extent you desire to do so. You may provide support for free, for a fee, or not
at all.
### 7. How to Sign
By submitting a pull request to the Project, you indicate your agreement to this
CLA. For your first contribution, please include the following statement in your
pull request description:
> I have read the CLA and I agree to its terms.
Alternatively, you may sign by adding your name to the table below and
submitting a pull request with that change.
