# Variants
- **`Io`** -- A general IO error.
- **`BindFailed`** -- Failed to bind the Unix domain socket (e.g. address already in use, permission denied).
- **`LspSpawnFailed`** -- Failed to spawn a language server subprocess.
- **`LspInitializeFailed`** -- A language server started but exited or rejected `initialize` before completing the handshake (for example, a `tsc` older than TypeScript 7 rejecting `--lsp`).
- **`LspInitializeTimedOut`** -- A language server started but never answered `initialize` within the daemon's request timeout.
- **`LockfileError`** -- Failed to acquire the lockfile for the socket path, typically because another daemon instance is already running.
