Expand description

Decode limits applied to every untrusted buffer.

Defaults are generous for real modules (millions of nodes) and tight enough that a hostile 160-byte buffer cannot make a reader allocate gigabytes. Every field is a hard ceiling; 0 is rejected at construction (there is no unlimited mode).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Limits

Source

pub fn strict() -> Self

A tight profile for tests and adversarial surfaces.

Source

pub fn check(&self) -> Result<()>

Reject a limits value that would disable every ceiling.
