//! One background processor's run over one task: each event folded, and what
//! happens when the store says another writer already finished the task.
//!
//! # Superseded
//!
//! The store refuses any write that would move a terminal task to another
//! state (`store::terminal`). When one of this processor's writes is refused,
//! the task was finished elsewhere — most often by a `CancelTask` on another
//! replica, whose cancellation token is not the one this executor watches.
//! From that moment the processor:
//!
//! 1. **cancels its executor's token**, the only cross-replica cancellation
//! signal there is: the executor learns at its next write, rather than
//!    never;
//! 2. **adopts the stored task**, so nothing it still holds in memory is
//!    written again;
//! 3. **answers every terminal ticket with the stored status**, so a client
//! streaming from this replica ends on the state the task is stored in,
//!    not on the one that was refused (see the terminal gate);
//! 4. **records that status in the event log** at the refused terminal
//! event's position, so a client resuming from the log sees what a live
//!    one saw;
//! 5. **delivers it to push subscribers**, once, unless this processor had
//! already pushed a terminal state of its own; the replica that wrote the
//! state has no processor of its own for the task, so without this a
//!    webhook would never hear that the task ended;
//! 6. **drops everything else the executor emits**, without folding,
//!    recording or pushing it.
//!
//! What it cannot do is un-send the non-terminal frames a streaming client on
//! this replica already received between the cancel and the refusal — an
//! artifact produced after the task was canceled elsewhere reaches that
//! client, though never the store. Only a cross-replica cancel *signal* could
//! prevent that, and the store has none to give.
