FramedWearableLink

Struct FramedWearableLink

Source
pub struct FramedWearableLink<T> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Application messages and byte streams over a WearableTransport.

The platform backend installs it with set_platform_wearable_link and hands it every frame the platform receives through Self::receive.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> FramedWearableLink<T>

Source

pub fn new(transport: T) -> FramedWearableLink<T>

A link that sends its frames through transport.

Source

pub fn receive(&self, peer: &str, frame: &[u8])

Handles one frame peer sent. A frame for a stream waits while that stream’s reader is far behind.

Source

pub fn disconnect(&self, peer: &str)

Ends every stream from peer, whose readers then reach the end of their data. The backend calls it when the device goes out of reach.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

fn peers(&self) -> Result<Vec<WearablePeer>, WearableError>

The connected devices.
Source§

fn send_message( &self, peer: &str, path: &str, data: &[u8], ) -> Result<(), WearableError>

Delivers data to peer under path.
Source§

fn open_stream( &self, peer: &str, path: &str, ) -> Result<Box<dyn Write + Send>, WearableError>

Opens a byte stream to peer under path.
Source§

fn open_url(&self, peer: &str, url: &str) -> Result<(), WearableError>

Opens url on peer’s screen.

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
Source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
