SemanticsSetSelection

Struct SemanticsSetSelection

Source
pub struct SemanticsSetSelection(/* private fields */);
Expand description

What a text field does when a screen reader moves its caret or picks a stretch of its text: the two ends of the new selection, as byte offsets into the field’s text, the anchor first and the end that moves second. Equal ends are a caret. This is Compose’s SemanticsActions.SetSelection; the answer says whether the field took the selection.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SemanticsSetSelection

Source

pub fn new( handler: impl Fn(usize, usize) -> bool + 'static, ) -> SemanticsSetSelection

Wraps handler, which receives the anchor and the focus offsets of the selection and returns whether the field took it.

Source

pub fn invoke(&self, anchor: usize, focus: usize) -> bool

Runs the handler with the selection from byte offset anchor to byte offset focus. Returns whether the field took it.
