AppUpdateCapabilities

Struct AppUpdateCapabilities

Source
pub struct AppUpdateCapabilities {
    pub check: bool,
    pub install: bool,
}
Expand description

What an update backend can do on this platform.

The two halves are separate because a platform can genuinely have one without the other: an iOS application may discover that a newer version exists and send the reader to the store, while installing a replacement binary is something the platform does not allow it to do at all. Reporting one flag for both would make check look unavailable where it works, or make install look available where it can only fail.

Fields§

§check: bool

Whether this platform can discover a newer release.

§install: bool

Whether this platform can install one.
