Expand description

Context features of one coefficient — all causal (already coded).

Fields§

§nb: [u16; 8]

Capped magnitudes of causal neighbours: W, N, U, NW, NE, UW, UN, WW (axis 2 = W/E, axis 1 = N, axis 0 = U), 0 outside the band.

§sg: [i8; 3]

Signs of W, N, U (−1, 0, +1).

§par: u16

Capped parent magnitude (0 if no parent band).

§pnb: u16

Capped sum of the parent’s 6 face neighbours.

§class: u8

Subband class 0..NCLASS.

§mask: u8

Highpass mask.

§has_par: bool

Whether a parent band exists.

§pm: u16

Capped magnitude of the in-band prediction (0 when prediction is off).

§sv: [i32; 18]

Signed context values: 0–7 behind nb, 8 parent, 9 NN, 10 UU, 11 UE, 12–17 the parent’s face neighbours (−/+ per axis).

§pv: i32

Signed in-band prediction.
