Variants

Hal(HalError)

An underlying HAL operation failed (sysfs read/write, parse).

Io(Error)

Filesystem IO failed.

Decode(Error)

A config file could not be decoded from TOML.

Encode(Error)

A config value could not be encoded to TOML.

Retain(String)

A retain-store framing/integrity error (bad magic, CRC mismatch, payload too large, or postcard (de)serialization failure).

Net(String)

A network-apply error: nmcli missing, a non-zero exit (with captured stderr), or an invalid crate::net::NetworkConfig.
