LauncherRow

Struct LauncherRow

Source
pub struct LauncherRow { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The settings row that says the app is in the OS’s app menu, with a button that takes it out (Remove) or puts it back (Add back). Put it on one of the app’s Settings pages, its general one, say; hold it there, and call ui every frame the page is shown.

The entry is the one WindowOptions::launcher registers as the window opens. With the serde feature and a store, the person’s choice is kept there, so a removed entry is not written back on the next start; without a store, a removal lasts only for the session. Where there is no app menu to look in (Status::Unsupported: on iOS and Android, or without a home directory, or for a build launcher::register skips) and in a Windows or macOS package, whose installer owns the entry, the row draws nothing.

Implementations§

Source§

impl LauncherRow

Source

pub fn new(spec: LauncherSpec) -> LauncherRow

The row for spec, the spec the app gives its window.

Source

pub fn ui(&mut self, ui: &mut Ui)

Render the row: its label, and the button its state calls for.

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
Source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
