#[non_exhaustive]pub struct Revision {
pub nodes: Vec<Arc<DisplayNode>>,
}Expand description
A provisional picture of a streaming reply.
A revision is a pure function of the received prefix: the same bytes give an equal revision however they were chunked. Revisions are not monotone; a later byte may reclassify text drawn by an earlier revision (a closing backtick, a link destination, a table delimiter row, the rest of a line), so a caller drawing revisions replaces the whole drawn revision with the next one. Text still held unresolved is not drawn at all.
A revision is inert. It carries display structure only: no reference
numbers (a reference is a Display::PendingReference placeholder), no
link destinations, no tag props, and nothing that names data to fetch or
an action to take. It is never a storage-time reference decision; use
StreamParser::finish or crate::scan_references for that.
