Expand description

Everything a sensor must declare about itself.

Fields§

§id: SensorId§key: &'static str

Stable short name, e.g. frequency.

§physical_fact: &'static str

The physical quantity being approximated, in one sentence.

§source: &'static str

The kernel interface or instruction the value comes from.

§max_rate_hz: f64

Above this rate, sampling returns no new information.

§perturbation: Perturbation§uncertainty: Uncertainty§requires_privilege: bool

True when the sensor needs privileges an ordinary user may not have, and will therefore be absent rather than wrong.
