Expand description

When and how much a compaction relocates blob files to restore scan locality. Set through KvSeparationOptions::relocate_for_locality.

Fields§

§max_depth: NonZeroU64

The blob reference depth a compaction’s inputs may reach before it relocates for locality. Relocation fires only above it.

§budget: f32

The extra I/O relocation may add, as a fraction of the bytes the compaction writes anyway.
