Expand description

Errors raised during message processing.

Variants§

§

UnknownType(String)

An unknown message type was encountered. Message text mirrors upstream “Unknown message type %s”.

§

NoType

A message with no (or an empty) “type” attribute was encountered. Message text mirrors upstream “Unknown message with no type”.

§

MissingAttribute(String)

A required attribute is missing from a message.

§

UnexpectedPayload(String)

An unexpected payload was found on a message that doesn’t support one.

§

UnexpectedMessage(String)

A message was received in a state where it is not expected. Message text mirrors upstream “unexpected message: %s”.

§

InvalidPayload(String)

The message payload is invalid or corrupted.

§

InvalidPayloadDetail(String, String)

The message payload is invalid or corrupted; carries the underlying cause like upstream’s “Message %s has an invalid payload (%s)” (commit fee03a3 — the cause is included since Python 3.14/reporting).

§

ParseError(String)

XML parse error.

§

InvalidTag(String)

Invalid starting XML tag.
