Supported configuration file formats.

The format of a file is detected from its extension by default, see Format::from_path.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Json

JSON (.json). Always available.

Toml

TOML (.toml). Requires the toml feature (enabled by default).

Yaml

YAML (.yaml / .yml). Requires the yaml feature.

Errors

Returns Error::UnknownExtension when the extension is missing or not one of .toml, .yaml, .yml, .json.
