Expand description

The parameters of a CPM signal, validated by CpmConfig::build.

Fields§

§order: usize

The alphabet size $M$ (2 or 4).

§h_num: u32

The numerator $p$ of the modulation index $h = p/q$.

§h_den: u32

The denominator $q$ of the modulation index.

§pulse: FrequencyPulse

The frequency pulse.

§length: usize

The pulse length $L$ in symbols.

§sps: usize

Samples per symbol.

Implementations§

Source§

impl CpmConfig

Source

pub fn msk(sps: usize) -> CpmConfig

MSK: binary 1REC with $h = 1/2$.

Source

pub fn gmsk(bt: f64, length: usize, sps: usize) -> CpmConfig

GMSK: binary Gaussian pulse of bandwidth bt over length symbols, $h = 1/2$.

Source

pub fn build(self) -> Result<Cpm>

Build the modulator: tabulate the phase response and the trellis.

§Errors

comnum_core::Error::Config unless the order is 2 or 4, $0 < h < 1$ with $q \le 64$, the length is between 1 and 8, sps is at least 2, and $BT > 0$ for a Gaussian pulse.
