Datatype

Struct Datatype

Source
pub struct Datatype {
    pub complex: bool,
    pub scalar: Scalar,
    pub big_endian: bool,
}
Expand description

A sample format of SigMF: [c|r][f32|f64|i32|i16|i8|u32|u16|u8][_le|_be] (the 8-bit types without endianness).

Integer samples are converted to floating point without scaling; the unsigned types are centred by $2^{b-1}$ (128 for cu8), as the reference implementation sigmf-python does. SigMF::full_scale gives the scale of its autoscale.

Fields§

§complex: bool

Complex (interleaved I and Q) or real.

§scalar: Scalar

The type of a component.

§big_endian: bool

Big-endian components.

Implementations§

Source

pub const CF64: Datatype

cf64_le.

Source

pub const CI32: Datatype

ci32_le.

Source

pub const CI16: Datatype

Source

pub const CI8: Datatype

ci8.

Source

pub const CU8: Datatype

cu8 (RTL-SDR).

Source

pub const RF32: Datatype

rf32_le.

Source

pub const RF64: Datatype

rf64_le.

Source

pub const RI16: Datatype

ri16_le.

Source

pub fn parse(s: &str) -> Result<Datatype>

Parse a SigMF data type (cf32_le, ci16_be, cu8, ri8, …; the endianness may be omitted, little endian then).

§Errors

Error::Config for an unknown type.

Source

pub fn name(self) -> String

The SigMF name.

Source

pub fn sample_bytes(self) -> usize

Bytes per sample (both components for a complex type).
