Struct EbN0

pub struct EbN0(pub Db);

Energy per information bit over the noise spectral density, E_{b}/N_{0}.

Tuple Fields

0: Db

Implementations

impl EbN0

pub fn to_es_n0(self, bits_per_symbol: f64, rate: f64) -> EsN0

Converts to E_{s}/N_{0} for bits_per_symbol coded bits per symbol at code rate rate: $E_{s}/N_{0} = E_{b}/N_{0} + 10 \log_{10}(k R)$ dB. The number of bits is real: the entropy of a shaped constellation, for instance.

Trait Implementations

impl Clone for EbN0

fn clone(&self) -> Self

Returns a duplicate of the value.

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source.

impl Copy for EbN0

impl Debug for EbN0

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter.

impl Default for EbN0

fn default() -> Self

Returns the “default value” for a type.

impl PartialEq for EbN0

fn eq(&self, other: &Self) -> bool

Equality operator ==.

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Inequality operator !=.

impl PartialOrd for EbN0

fn partial_cmp(&self, other: &Self) -> Option<Ordering>

This method returns an ordering between self and other values if one exists.

fn lt(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests less than (for self and other) and is used by the < operator.

fn le(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests less than or equal to (for self and other) and is used by the <= operator.

fn gt(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests greater than (for self and other) and is used by the > operator.

fn ge(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests greater than or equal to (for self and other) and is used by the >= operator.
