Expand description
Configuration for initializing a journaled MMR for synchronization.
Determines how to handle existing persistent data based on sync boundaries:
- Fresh Start: Existing data < lower_bound → discard and start fresh
- Prune and Reuse: lower_bound ≤ existing data ≤ upper_bound → prune and reuse
- Prune and Rewind: existing data > upper_bound → prune and rewind to upper_bound
Fields§
§config: Config
Base MMR configuration (journal, metadata, etc.)
lower_bound: u64
Pruning boundary - operations below this are considered pruned.
upper_bound: u64
Sync boundary - operations above this are rewound if present.
pinned_nodes: Option<Vec<D>>
The pinned nodes the MMR needs at the pruning boundary given by
lower_bound
, in the order specified by Proof::nodes_to_pin.
If None
, the pinned nodes are expected to already be in the MMR’s metadata/journal.
