Selects how submitted bytes are retained from a write.

Per the crate::Blob durability contract, both modes leave bytes outside the written range untouched.

Variants

Prefix

Retain bytes from the beginning of the write until the first omitted byte.

Subset

Independently select each submitted byte for retention.
