Identity of the running pipeline and the data item being processed.

Tasks that need attribution metadata (user, dataset, current data item) read this from TaskContext::pipeline_ctx.

Fields

pipeline_id: Uuid

Unique ID of this pipeline run (matches [Pipeline::id]).

pipeline_name: String

Human-readable pipeline name.

user_id: Option<Uuid>

Owner / tenant executing the pipeline.

tenant_id: Option<Uuid>

Tenant the pipeline run belongs to. None for single-user deployments — telemetry emitters substitute the literal "Single User Tenant" to match Python’s behaviour.

dataset_id: Option<Uuid>

Dataset being processed.

current_data: Option<Arc<dyn Value>>

The data item currently being processed. Set per-item by the executor before calling a task.

run_id: Option<Uuid>

Random per-invocation run id. Set by crate::pipeline::execute when it creates PipelineRunInfo. Used by tasks (via TaskContext::publish_payload_field) to attribute payload events. None when the task is not running inside execute().

user_email: Option<String>

Email of the user running the pipeline, if known. Used by the provenance-stamping algorithm to populate DataPoint.source_user. Mirrors Python’s user.email. Resolution priority is captured by PipelineContext::user_label.

provenance_visited: Arc<Mutex<HashSet<Uuid>>>

DataPoints already stamped during this pipeline run, keyed on their UUID. Shared across all tasks via the per-run PipelineContext so a DataPoint that survives multiple tasks is stamped exactly once — with the first task’s name. Mirrors Python’s PipelineContext._provenance_visited.

Resolved label used as DataPoint.source_user by the provenance-stamping algorithm.

Priority order (matches Python’s user.email or str(user.id), locked decision 4):

1. user_email if set.
2. Else user_id.to_string() if set.
3. Else None (the DP keeps its own value, or stays unstamped).
