Download and install a model.

This function:

  1. Creates a temporary download directory
  2. Downloads each file with resume support
  3. Verifies SHA256 checksums
  4. Atomically moves to target directory
§Arguments
  • manifest - Model manifest with file checksums
  • on_progress - Progress callback (called frequently)
§Errors

Returns DownloadError if download fails.
