A signal-bearing band transition for one file between two consecutive sampled revisions.

Only two directions are emitted:

• "regressed" — file entered the red band (prev band was not red, current band is red).
• "improved" — file left red or entered green (prev was red and current is not, OR prev was not green and current is green).

Transitions that stay within the same band, or move between yellow↔green without crossing a meaningful threshold, are not emitted (signal noise without actionable meaning).

Fields

path: String

Repo-relative file path.

date: String

YYYY-MM-DD of the sampled commit where the transition was detected.

from_band: String

Band at the previous sampled revision.

to_band: String

Band at this sampled revision.

direction: String

"improved" or "regressed".
