Counters describing what near-match generation saw and dropped.

Fields§

§units: usize

Units across all files.

§signed_units: usize

Units signed (cleared min_shingles).

§skipped_small: usize

Units skipped for having too few shingles.

§signed_limit_dropped: usize

Eligible units skipped after the signature-stage ceiling was reached.

§buckets: usize

LSH buckets with at least two members.

§stop_buckets: usize

Buckets dropped for exceeding the posting cap.

§stop_bucket_members: usize

Bucket members dropped with them.

§proposed_pairs: usize

Distinct pairs proposed by LSH before the deterministic gates.

§filtered_by_size: usize

Pairs dropped by the length-ratio gate.

§filtered_by_jaccard: usize

Pairs dropped by the estimated-Jaccard gate.

§near_miss_band_pairs: usize

Size-compatible, below-threshold pairs inside the configured diagnostic band before its retention cap.

§near_misses_retained: usize

Diagnostic near misses retained under the global cap.

§near_miss_cap_dropped: usize

Diagnostic near misses not retained after the global cap was reached.

§candidate_pairs: usize

Candidate pairs emitted.

§budget_exhausted: bool

Whether the pair budget ran out before all buckets were paired.

§budget_dropped: usize

Previously unseen pairs in the first eligible bucket the budget could not admit. Later buckets are deliberately not materialised, so this is a lower bound on the distinct candidate-pair work left.
