Variants

File

A source file — the only node kind that appears in snapshot output.

External

An external dependency (library / crate), recorded at depth 1: one node per library, never expanded into its internals.

Crate

Internal-only kinds used by the Rust syntactic stage (code-split-syn) while building the module tree. They are collapsed into File/External by the Rust plugin before the snapshot is written and never serialized.
