Expand description

Values used for AWS pseudo parameters (Ref AWS::Region, AWS::AccountId, …) when resolving the template; any field left unset falls back to a sensible default.

Fields§

§account_id: Option<String>§notification_arns: Option<String>§partition: Option<String>§region: Option<String>§stack_id: Option<String>§stack_name: Option<String>§url_suffix: Option<String>

Implementations§

Source§

impl PseudoParameterOverrides

Source

pub fn region(&self) -> &str

Source

pub fn get(&self, name: &str) -> Option<String>

Source

pub fn invalid_overrides(&self) -> Vec<String>

Source

pub fn fixed_value(&self, name: &str) -> Option<String>

Returns the user-supplied override for name only when the caller explicitly set the corresponding field. Auto-derived defaults - e.g. the commercial-vs-cn-vs-gov partition implied by region - are not returned here.

The satisfiability solver uses this to decide whether a pseudo-parameter is a constant (user pinned its value) or a free variable ranging over the literals it is compared against plus a sentinel for “any other value”. get always returns a default and would force the solver to treat every pseudo-parameter as a constant, producing false-positive “unreachable branch” diagnostics for templates that branch on AWS::Partition, AWS::Region, etc. - see ConditionModel::eval_value_concrete.
