EngineType

Enum EngineType

Source
pub enum EngineType {
    Rego,
    Cel,
    Composite,
}
Expand description

Selects which validation engine evaluates rules.

Variants§

§

Rego

§

Cel

§

Composite

Evaluates the built-in rules with one engine and layers caller-supplied external CEL, Rego, and Guard rules on top. With no external rules it produces the same diagnostics as the standalone engines, which is why it is the default selector.

Implementations§

Source§

impl EngineType

Source

pub const fn as_str(&self) -> &'static str

Source

pub fn parse(raw: &str) -> Result<Self, String>

Parses an engine selector, accepting rego/cel/composite case-insensitively. Returns an error describing the valid options rather than panicking, so a bad selector becomes a handleable failure instead of a process abort.
