Retry policy for transient errors (429, 5xx, request timeouts).

Default is no retry (max_attempts = 1). Build with RetryConfig::enabled to opt in.

Honors Retry-After on 429s when present; otherwise uses exponential backoff capped at max_backoff.

Fields

max_attempts: u32

Total attempts (1 = no retry, 3 = original + 2 retries).

initial_backoff: Duration

First retry delay.

backoff_multiplier: f64

Multiplier between retries.

max_backoff: Duration

Cap on backoff.
