BindError

Enum BindError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum BindError {
Show 13 variants Malformed(String), UntrustedOperator, BadSignature, WrongNode { record: String, adapter: String, }, IdentityMismatch(&'static str), Expired, Replayed, NodeTaken(String), UnpinnedTransport(String), Licence(LicenceError), SeedBoundElsewhere { device_id: String, }, State(String), Seed(String),
}
Expand description

Why a bind was refused. Self::code is the stable chain code.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Malformed(String)

Not a well-formed record or envelope.

§

UntrustedOperator

Signed by a key that is not a pinned operator key.

§

BadSignature

The signature does not verify: the record was altered.

§

WrongNode

The record names another node than this adapter’s.

Fields

§record: String

Node id in the record.

§adapter: String

This adapter’s node id.

§

IdentityMismatch(&'static str)

The Seed’s own identity differs from the record.

§

Expired

bound_at is in the future or older than the accepted age.

§

Replayed

This exact record was already accepted, or is older than the binding held for the device.

§

NodeTaken(String)

The node is already bound to a different device.

§

UnpinnedTransport(String)

The link to the Seed is not pinned (and no lab opt-in is set).

§

Licence(LicenceError)

A licence-record check failed (v2 binding: signature, mesh id, steward profile, admission posture). Only with the licence module.

§

SeedBoundElsewhere

The device is already bound to another mesh here; unbind first.

Fields

§device_id: String

The Seed’s device id.

§

State(String)

The bind state could not be saved, so nothing was bound.

§

Seed(String)

The Seed could not be asked.
