What the caller already knows about the artifact, from a signed manifest. A peer’s descriptor that does not fit is refused before any piece is requested.

Fields

size: Option<u64>

Exact total size.

max_size: Option<u64>

Largest acceptable total size (when the exact size is not known).

root: Option<ArtifactId>

Exact artifact id (piece-list root), when something pins it.
