pub struct SeedSpec {
pub addr: String,
pub node_id: Option<String>,
}Expand description
One configured seed: the address to dial and, when the operator pinned
it, the node id the seed must claim. Written addr or addr#node-id.
A seed sends no hello, so its id is otherwise whatever it claims first. A pin binds the connection to that id from the start: frames naming any other id are dropped, so a seed cannot speak for (or impersonate while offline) another node. The pin is the operator’s word, not a proof: the seed’s peer is still held as unverified.
Fields§
§addr: StringAddress to dial (host:port, or a URL for the transport).
node_id: Option<String>Node id the seed is expected to be, if pinned.
