Why a checkout was refused or failed. CheckoutRefusal::code is the stable code a requester sees.

Variants

NotAdmitted

The caller is not the steward’s kernel or a verified node peer (LocalTenant, Unadmitted, a leaf, a legacy peer).

GateDenied(String)

The governance gate did not permit cog.checkout.

BadRequest(String)

The request is not well formed.

Licence(String)

weft-licence refused with a stable code.

LicenceLink(String)

The link to weft-licence failed.

BadGrant(String)

The returned grant did not verify.

SeedClockSkew

The Seed’s clock is ahead of this node’s by more than the skew allowance.

ArtifactMismatch(String)

The returned bytes do not match the signed sizes or hashes.

RateLimited

This member asked too often (the steward’s per-member budget).

Busy

The steward has too many checkouts in flight.

Storage(String)

The node could not store the bytes.
