Fields

checkpoint: PathBuf

Checkpoint path to pin (RVF, key and tree derive from it).

legacy_in_use: bool

True when this is the legacy ~/.clawft chain, not the resolved one.

warning: Option<String>

WARN text for the operator, when the choice needs explaining.

refusal: Option<String>

Set when adopting the legacy chain looks unsafe: boot must refuse.

transient: bool

refusal clears by itself within LEGACY_ACTIVE_WINDOW (an older kernel’s recent write): a plain boot error, so a service manager’s retry is the right response, not the permanent exit 78.
