Payload types for kernel messages.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Text(String)
Plain text message.
Json(Value)
Structured JSON data.
ToolCall
Tool call delegation from one agent to another.
ToolResult
Result of a delegated tool call.
Fields
Signal(KernelSignal)
System control signal.
Rvf
RVF-typed payload with segment type hint.
Agents can exchange RVF-typed messages. The segment type tells the receiver what format the data is in (using rvf-types discriminants, e.g. 0x40 = ExochainEvent).
