system/ui_panes — the pane roster a remote surface draws changed: a plugin opened, retitled or closed a pane, the person showed, focused or closed one, or a placing client attached. Deduplicated: an unchanged roster is not pushed. A pane opened before the stream armed produces none, so read the roster with a ui_panes request on mount (CLI 2.1.285+).

The placed open panes in open order (an open appends, a close removes); a pane waiting unplaced is not listed.

shown_id: Option<String>

The pane the surface shows: the last opened or focused, never displacing one the person holds; None with none open.

focused_id: Option<String>

The pane the person gave the keyboard; None while the composer has it.

focus_requested_id: Option<String>

A standing $.ui.open({ focus: true }) the surface has yet to judge: honour it only while the composer is empty and idle and no dialog is up, else refuse it.
