pub struct PromptSubmitOutcome {
pub kind: Option<PromptSubmitOutcomeKind>,
pub no_verdict_kind: Option<String>,
pub prompt_kept: bool,
pub reason: Option<String>,
}Expand description
How a submitted prompt ended before a model call, carried as
InformationalMessage::prompt_submit_outcome (CLI 2.1.300+).
Fields§
§kind: Option<PromptSubmitOutcomeKind>What ended the prompt. The CLI drops a kind it does not know, so the
key can be absent; treat PromptSubmitOutcomeKind::Other as absent
too, and ignore reason beside it.
no_verdict_kind: Option<String>Sent with kind no_verdict, and says why: remote_run_failed,
remote_run_timed_out, interrupted, remote_runner_refused,
unsupported_in_cloud_session, output_distrusted,
callback_timed_out, hook_failed, hook_timed_out,
hooks_never_ran, personal_config_refused or
rewrite_unplaceable. Open set — treat an unknown value as absent.
prompt_kept: boolTrue when the prompt stays in the conversation, where the model reads
it on the next turn. Do not infer it from kind.
reason: Option<String>The hook’s text as Claude Code got it, sanitized and possibly cut.
Never sent with no_verdict; absent when Claude Code got no text.
Untrusted and can quote the prompt, so render it as plain text.
