A streaming event emitted during tool execution or other async operations.

Stream events carry opaque event data and are associated with a session and optionally with a parent tool use.

uuid: String

Unique event identifier.

session_id: String

Session this event belongs to.

event: Value

Opaque event payload.

parent_tool_use_id: Option<String>

The tool use ID this event is associated with (if any).

extra: Value

Forward-compatibility catchall.
