Mid-stream failures cannot be retried safely (we’d silently drop content); see Error::is_retryable.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Parse(String)

Failed to parse a wire-level SSE event.

Connection(String)

Connection dropped or other transport failure mid-stream.

Server

Server emitted a typed error event mid-stream.
