Sort order presets for bibliography entries.

Each preset encodes the sort key sequence for a citation style family. Use for the bibliography.sort field to avoid repeating boilerplate key lists.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

AuthorDateTitle

Author → year → title. Standard for author-date styles (APA, Chicago, Harvard).

AuthorTitleDate

Author → title → year. Used in some footnote and note styles.

CitationNumber

Citation number only. Used in numeric styles (Vancouver, IEEE).
