Expand description

A tag or a structure member.

Fields§

§type_name: String

The controller’s type name: DINT, a UDT name, DWORD for a BOOL array; empty when unknown.

§kind: Kind

Atomic, structure or string.

§dims: Vec<u64>

Array dims: a tag’s dimensions, a member’s [array]; empty for a scalar. A BOOL array (tag or member) counts the 32-bit words that hold it, as controllers report it.

§member: bool

True for a structure member.

§instance_id: Option<u32>

The symbol instance ID of a tag.

§structure_size: Option<u64>

Bytes of a value of a structure or string type.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Node

Source

pub fn bool_array(&self) -> bool

A BOOL array: a DWORD array.

Source

pub fn client_type(&self) -> &str

The type as clients see it: BOOL for a BOOL array, STRING for any string type.

Source

pub fn client_dims(&self) -> Vec<u64>

The dims as clients see them: a BOOL array’s words as BOOLs.
