pub enum FloatOrder {
Greater,
GreaterEqual,
Less,
LessEqual,
LessGreater,
Unordered,
}Expand description
A quiet floating-point comparison: __builtin_isgreater and its relatives.
“Quiet” is the whole point of them — C99 7.12.14 defines each as the
comparison it names without raising the invalid exception on a NaN, which
< and friends would. Rust’s floating comparison operators are the quiet
ones, so each is written out as the operator it stands for.
Variants§
Greater
__builtin_isgreater
GreaterEqual
__builtin_isgreaterequal
Less
__builtin_isless
LessEqual
__builtin_islessequal
LessGreater
__builtin_islessgreater: x < y || x > y, which is x != y without
the NaN case.
Unordered
__builtin_isunordered: either operand is a NaN.
