Variants

Brotli

Brotli (br). The best ratio of the three, and universally supported by current browsers over both plaintext and TLS.

Gzip

gzip (gzip). The safe default: understood by everything.

Deflate

deflate (deflate), which per RFC 9110 §8.4.1.2 means the zlib format of RFC 1950 rather than a raw deflate stream.
